Rosa Bonheur Oil Painting Reproductions |
Rosa Bonheur was a French Realist who devoted her career to animals. Her oil paintings draw on studies made at farms and livestock markets, showing the shifts of muscle as a horse turns or cattle move together. In The Horse Fair she brought those observations into a busy scene where handlers struggle to guide the powerful animals.
