John Frost Oil Painting Reproductions |
John Frost was an American painter who brought French Impressionist training to California. His oil paintings range from desert flowers near Palm Springs to the Sierra Nevada. Pale mountains rise behind washes of warmer color. Loose brushwork and a study of sunlight give even his driest landscapes a sense of changing air and weather.
